The bachelor of arts in game development prepares students to be modern game designers. Students learn the foundations of computer science while focusing on building the skills needed to create artistic content for games. The combination of strong technical background with the creativity of game design enables them to bridge the gap between artist and programmer.

My class experience with collaborative tools and developer resources has put me in a position of expertise, such that despite being the youngest member of our team I am responsible for keeping both of our current projects moving forward on the programming side. Managing time and achieving development goals is going to be critical…but project scoping and task management have been equally fundamental to my success at DU.
